As a Data Analyst at SearchTides, your role is pivotal in crafting comprehensive reports that provide clear insights into our daily data. Your expertise will contribute significantly to enhancing and ensuring sustained progress within our link department. It’s essential that your reports not only reflect the intricate nature of our data but also empower our team with actionable intelligence to optimize our internal processes and drive continuous growth.

 

What are we looking for in a Data Analyst? 

Your largest KPI will be the objective measurement and accountability of our client campaigns. You will also be asked to identify trends and areas for improvement, help the team with better decision-making based on a constant increase of data quality.  There are three main ways that you’ll work to deliver these results: 

 

Working on client campaigns data

  • Collaborating with the Project Manager and Associate Link Manager to create, analyze and improve the data reports. 
  • Activities Include, but are not limited to:
    • Uncover Key Campaign Trends
    • In-depth Analysis of each Campaign stage 
    • Presentation of findings in a visually appealing way
    • Active learning of the softwares used
    • Constant learning of the internal processes 
  • Create and analyze data and reports. You’ll use the data given to you, to periodically create documents for reporting. Such reports must be easy to understand and have meaningful information on simple and effective presentations. 
  • Support your findings with data and be confident in your ability to proactively answer questions that the team might have before they ask them.

 

Collaborating with team members

  • In addition to your work with the Project Manager and Associate Link Manager, you’ll work with or report to:
    • The Head of Link Building to report on any information it might need or answer specific questions through meetings or slack. 
    • Outreach Team Lead to discuss and report any trend or key information they found.
    • Software Lead to understand how the data is gathered, what are the indicators and any insights needed to gather a better understanding of the data files you will receive. Help test new tools for the department. 
  • You might also work with other team members based on the success of your reports. 

Staying at the forefront of trends

  • Masterfully manage and interpret complex data sets, crafting visually compelling reports that not only communicate insights effectively but also utilize the latest tools and technologies to ensure our reporting stays innovative and trendsetting.
  • Communicating with the rest of the team to guarantee your understanding of any industry change that might affect the ending results of the campaign.

Requirements

 

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a data analysis role, preferably within a high-growth agency or dynamic business environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large datasets, ensuring accuracy and relevance in reporting and decision-making processes.
  • Experience in utilizing statistical methods and machine learning algorithms for predictive analysis and trend forecasting.
  • Capability to work independently in a remote setting, maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines effectively.
